Advanced Gematria Techniques

Gematria isn't limited to the basic addition of letter values. Various advanced techniques can offer profound insights.

The first technique is 'Small Gematria', where we only consider the unit's place of each letter's numerical value. For instance, for the letter Tav, which usually carries a value of 400, we only consider 0 in Small Gematria.

Next, we have 'Ordinal Gematria'. In this technique, each Hebrew letter is assigned a number according to its position in the alphabet: Aleph is 1, Bet is 2, and so on until Tav, which is 22.

Lastly, we have 'Integral Reduced value'. Here, we repeatedly add the digits of a number until a single digit is obtained. For example, if we have the number 256, we add 2+5+6 to get 13, then we add 1+3 to get 4, which is the Integral Reduced value of 256.

As a practice exercise, try applying these techniques to the same set of words or phrases and observe how the meanings evolve.

The study of Gematria is an expansive field, spanning across cultures and religious practices, not limited to the Hebrew alphabet.
